The weather in North Devon was beautiful today; sunny with a fresh wind, ideal for a brisk walk. Accompanied by my faithful border collie Jessie and my trusty F50fd camera we set off along the coastal path.
At first we climbed through lush green woods carpeted with bluebells.
Soon we were on the top of the cliffs where a hawk hovered overhead while rabbits played among the golden swathes of sweet smelling gorse.
Clumps of pink thrift clung to the sheer cliff face while, far down below, the tumultuous sea crashed upon jagged rocks.
Everything was so beautiful it made me realize just how privileged I am to live in such magnificent surroundings
